Syrenka Beer Packaging

Syrenka Beer Packaging

Syrenka, the latest beer sensation, takes inspiration from the legendary Polish Mermaid of Warsaw, renowned for her beauty and bravery. The name Syrenka, meaning mermaid in Polish, pays tribute to the rich cultural heritage of Poland and its folklore. The inspiration for the name comes from a local fisherman who was captivated by the mermaid's enchanting singing and was later rescued by the fishermen from the clutches of a greedy merchant.

The beer's captivating design is a visual delight, featuring the iconic statue of the mermaid that adorns the streets of Warsaw. The typography logo is ingeniously crafted, with the letter "Y" morphing into a mermaid's fin, symbolizing the mystical allure of the mermaid. The color palette is carefully selected to evoke a sense of national pride, with the use of Poland's national colors of white, red, and gold. This was a project that was created for my design program at Central Connecticut State University.
